FUNDRAISING FOR STUDENT ACCOUNTS

There are two major types of fundraising that can be done to raise funds to cover student course fees, trip costs, meals, etc.

  • Parent/Student hours with Moody or RS3 Concessions or
  • Fundraising Item Sales


Parent/Student Volunteer opportunities:

Welcome to the Family Fundraising site for Dell Diamond, HEB and Moody Center Concessions. They offer fundraising opportunities for students, family and friends to work concession areas for events being held at their facilities. Dell/HEB requires 15 yrs and older, Moody Center is 18yrs and older. The Theatre member MUST work with a parent or other adult at Dell/HEB shifts. Each volunteer session is worth a minimum of $ 75/shift per individual. Some sessions offer a percentage of revenue sales from the concession venue. Money is then donated for the student to the Cedar Ridge Theatre Department which can then be used to pay for obligations within the department.

Step 1 - Send your name and email to the Theatre RS3 coordinator at Rs3 at theatreattheridge dot com to sign up for the Family Fundraising Programs and join GROUPME “Rs3 Theatre at the Ridge”


Step 2 - Everyone must attend orientations for Dell/HEB to work at each venue. The coordinator will publish orientation dates on Groupme as they become available. Email Rs3 at theatreattheridge dot com to sign up for orientations. 


Step 3 - If you are 18 and older, you must get TABC certification. These are a couple of the websites, tabcfast.com and 360training.com.


Dell/HEB requires the alcohol seller-server one only. 

Moody Center requires an Alcohol Seller-Server AND Food Handler Certification.  


Once you have completed the Certifications, email copies to Rs3 at theatreattheridge dot com


Step 4 - Once you have completed orientation and TABC Certification, RS3 will add you to their Scheduling System (Paycom App). They will send your login information via email. You will use Paycom to sign up for their shifts. 


The Moody Center signup will be on Groupme - Rs3 Theatre at the Ridge.


Step 5 - Sign up for shifts using Paycom (Dell/HEB) or this spreadsheet (Moody).

You must take a picture of the sign in sheet with the date worked. Submit the photo to Rs3 at theatreattheridge dot com. This is how we know you worked. Workers are responsible for finding a replacement if they are unable to fulfill a commitment.

All Student Funds will be tracked and entered into their Presto accounts. Please log into your student Presto account to track fundraising amounts.


Please note...It can take up to 8 weeks before RS3 funds are received and recorded. If you have any questions please contact the RS3 Board Member helping organize the calendar or with Ms. Copeland directly.
